Even though Highland’s 9,000 citizens may not make it the biggest city in the state, it is by no means isolated from larger markets.  There are 10 major U.S markets within 500 miles of Highland that include St. Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Kansas City. Thanks to the four airports that are less than an hour away, two ports within 60 miles and an extensive system of nearby interstates and railways, the little community of Highland is never too far away.
